Carol M. Rice is the Executive Artistic Director of Rover Dramawerks, as well as one of the co-founders. She has been involved in some way with every show Rover has done and also works with various other theatres throughout the Metroplex when she can. Carol is a producer, an award-winning actress and director, and a published playwright, and somehow she also finds time to be an adjunct theatre professor at Dallas College. Carol received her Master of Arts in Drama (Playwriting Emphasis) from Texas Woman’s University.
Glynda Welch, Board President, is pleased to work with the dedicated individuals who comprise our Board of Directors, guiding Rover in pursuit of its mission to provide unique, quality entertainment to our audiences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Drama, and a Master's Degree in Library Science. An actress, director, and sometimes costumer, Glynda has worked in theater across the Dallas area, in addition to her years as an elementary teacher and librarian.
Kim Wickware, Patron Services Manager, Kim has been bringing her sunny personality and patron-focused care to the Rover box office since 2006. Aside from Rover, Kim has also worked her box office magic at Plano Repertory Theater, The Grandbury Opera and MBS Productions. She prides herself on combining professionalism with a personal touch, remembering and greeting patrons by name and ensuring that every visitor to Rover feels welcome. When not doing her part to give Rover patrons a wonderful guest experience, Kim enjoys embroidery, cake decorating, and pyrography. Her addictions include Netflix, ruthless Uno matches, and sipping Moscato with friends.
